Three Hard Requirements of Berry Packaging

For high-value fresh produce such as strawberries, blueberries and cherry tomatoes, packaging must meet three requirements. First, ventilation: moisture and heat from fruit respiration must escape, or mold develops faster. Second, stacking strength: the weight of upper layers rests entirely on the stiffness of the pack below. Third, visibility: a crystal-clear pack directly drives shelf conversion.
